Introduction

I had a lot of trials and tribulation getting Movable Type 3.2 setup using PHP and MySQL on Windows Server 2003. This article spells out all steps required to run Movable Type 3.2 in IIS using MySQL. It is assumed that you have a working web site already setup (through IIS Manager).

Please note that you need to enable Script execution on your web site in order for Movable Type 3.2 to work.
(go to your web site properties in the IIS manager and select Properties, Home Directory.
Under Execute Permissions select Scripts Only from the drop down box, then click Ok)

Continue to Perl Installation >>
